John Houghton Biography

John Houghton is an AI systems architect and enterprise consultant with 25 years in Silicon Valley tech. A native of the Bay Area, he grew up with early digital exposure, participating in ARPANET communities — the foundation of today’s internet. At age 9, he learned UNIX and BASIC, then Pascal at age 13. He didn’t want to do his algebra homework so he programmed his computer to do it for him.

John has led strategy and product for brands that have generated over half a billion dollars in new license revenue, including Oracle and SAP. He now focuses on AI infrastructure — deploying local language models, building voice pipelines, and applying AI to complex planning and strategy problems for enterprise clients.
